Torie is doing much better. The pleural effusion is continuing to resolve and she has been off O2 for over 24 hours. All of her cultures are negative and the antibiotics were stopped today. The best news is that the CD3 engraftment level is up to 16% and the CD15 is 90% ! And her Enzyme level is still in normal range! Hallelujah!
If she continues to do well, she may be able to have her G-tube placed in the next day or two and not have to be re-admitted again. The weather here has been really nice, and it's great to see leaves and flowers blooming. This morning on my walk back to RMH it felt like hope is blossoming like these trees. If Torie's bumpy ride has finally smoothed out, our last appointment here will be May 17th and we will head home. 26 days!
Thank you so much for all the prayers and happy thoughts that have gotten her through this week. The people here at the U of M are doing an excellent job, but I know that it has been all of you who have helped Torie make such a quick turn-around. Prayer works! Vic-Torie!

Hurray for you Torie! I was so very happy to hear that your engraftment levels are up and that other concerns are getting better. I called a number of your Arizona members to tell them the great news. They are very happy too and they are glad that Heavenly Father is answering some very intense prayers!
