Today Torie started Busulfan and her levels are a little low so her dose is being bumped up a bit. She had a great day..lots of playing and stories and movies and a bath. Bedtime isn't getting any easier and I wonder if the Keppra is wiring her a bit. We tried a bit of Melatonin and either it worked or she gave up, but she's finally asleep. They started her on TPN and Lipids (IV nutrition) tonight. She hadn't eaten much the last couple of days and they want to plump her up some before transplant. Today she ate great so hopefully she won't need the TPN for long. She'll be on it after transplant until she can get all the calories she needs by eating. It's pretty rough on the liver so I hope they can minimize it now.
Torie was very excited to get a package in the mail from Aunt Lettie - a very cute monkey that Torie says has "fuzzy head. Like Torie and Mama." And my Uncle Dick joined the Bald for Torie group too! Thank you for all the support! We love you!
We are so glad to hear of all the support for you. We sure miss seeing your smile sweet girl. We pray you do well and get some extra sleep tonight.
