Only 66 days to hit 100! Torie's counts are looking great...WBC's 6.5 and an ANC of 5070! Today she didn't have to have GCSF, and she won't need it as long as her ANC stays above 1000. Her counts will drop without the GCSF, but then they should start coming back up on their own. She's not making many red blood cells on her own yet; hemoglobin this morning was 8.2 - she'll get RBC's tomorrow, and her platelet count was 10 so she was transfused today. Today was also ERT #5...just 3 more to go! Her dehydration seems to be resolving some, and she has been taking a few bites, but she's downing milk like a champ. Being this close to Wisconsin, we may need to buy a cow! We got to see our Sweet Si this morning at Clinic. He and Torie are both very shy and really don't want to talk to many people. I don't know if it's from having so many people looking and poking and prodding or what, but we did get to see a great big Si smile...with dimples even! He looks so great. Because Si got Hero blood from James, he's about a week ahead of Torie. His Hero blood is making tons of new cells for him and he hasn't needed transfused for ages. I love seeing him and where he's at...It renews my spirit to know Torie will be looking that great next week.
If all goes well (which is what we have planned!) and Torie has no complications, Collette will be coming with the U-Haul in just over 2 months. We will miss all the new friends we have here at the House, but I know we'll always be in touch. We're very excited for Torie to be home with her Mommy and Daddy, and we can't wait to see our husbands, as well as our friends. We miss you all, and we're grateful for your ongoing support. Please keep sending those happy thoughts and prayers for no roadblocks! Glenwood Canyon may still be closed and that's the only kind of roadblock we want!

I bet you will be able to fill up that U-haul and more! It won't be long until you are heading home. Colorado misses you, Torie! We'll plan a play date as soon as possible once you get home. Keep growing those cells and fighting off germs so you can stay out of the hospital.
