T+127 Parent's Night In...

This is one of our favorite days because Baby Sydney is 100 days post-BMT. She is doing well, and a true miracle! Today Torie's weight was up from 15.7kg on Wednesday to 16.5kg. An all-time high. After labs and a chest and abdominal X-Ray, she was diagnosed with another familial genetic disorder. She's full of ****! I think this is mostly from Papa-Great. We are starting Miralax, so I have a pretty good idea of what she'll be giving me for my birthday! And if it makes her feel better, it will be the greatest gift. Dad thinks her intake valve has exceeded her outlet. Insurance should be paying him.
Tonight was Parent's Night In dinner. What a treat! And delicious, too! Torie got to go to a special "Just for Kids Dinner", and then to a movie in the Cinema. We are so lucky that Torie's good friend Lauren was there and took extra-good care of her.

We are so fortunate to be here, and to be so well-treated. What a great night! I don't want to say anything too loud, but I think we will REALLY be leaving Tuesday morning. We are all so anxious to be home. Please keep sending Torie your prayers and happy thoughts so that she stays healthy and gets the OK to go west...we are so ready! Vic-Torie!

  2. Hey guys! Lovely dinner you have there. I remember we got to enjoy one of those. Hope Torie enjoyed a change for the evening too. And that's great news about Day 100 for Sydney. May the next be much easier than the first!

Thanks for the cute thank-you card. Rylie was especially happy to read it. :)

  3. Hey, i just wanted to let you know to be careful not to use the miralaz continously as it is really only supposed to be used for no more than 7 days at a time or the body can become reliant on it. Some good alternatives are apple cider, over-ripe bananas, probiotics, digestive enzymes and/or fruit like apples and vegetables like asparagus. Good Luck!
