Torie has decided that the best time for napping is at night. Like from 9 to 1. Yep, PM to AM. Everyone was amazed at Clinic yesterday morning that we were all so goofy and giggly. It was really just delirium. Torie's chemistry's remain perfect - WNL - but those counts are dropping again. Not a ton, but enough to worry me. WBC's went to 2.2 with an ANC of 1300, and her hemoglobin dropped to 9.4. Certainly not nearly as worrisome as 4.6, but not going the direction we were hoping for. Dr. Orchard wasn't overly worried, and the plan is tooooo.... you guessed it! "Just keep an eye on her." Our eyes are tired, but that could be from the lack of sleep!
If you've been watching The Weather Channel at all today, you've seen we've had some wind up here. This October was the driest one on record in history, but I think it's gonna catch up in the next couple of days. The prediction for tonight is rain turning to snow. I'm afraid it's just a taste of what we'll be seeing soon. Who'd have thought that coming for ONE WEEK in August that we'd be here for snow? Dang, it's been a long week! Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, and for your support. It really does help get through the long lonely times while we're waiting for Vic-Torie.
We pray for you everyday sweet triplet. We love you and your family so very much. Praying that your numbers start going in the right direction. Josiah is trying to be like you and all his numbers are going down, so you are suppose to have your numbers go way up ... ok :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the possible snow.. we were having tornado weather, can you believe how crazy the weather can be. Stay safe and warm sweet Torie!
Love,
TN family
I have been watching the Weather Channel and it looks like rough weather ahead for sure. So Torie has decided she prefers night shift? Good and happy thoughts and prayers that Torie's numbers improve are heading your way.
ReplyDeleteHey Grand Kid Torie, I'm here in Arizona with your cousins and your AZ. aunts and uncles. We talk about you a lot. They all want you to come home soon so lets so work on keeping fevers away and making good cells. Cooper is playing with his trains right now and he just told me that he wants you to come and see his new train set. This afternoon I am taking your cousins to Arizona Sea Life Aquarium. Just your cousins and Papa Tom. No grown ups. Hurray!s We will take lots of pictures and maybe Aunt Heather can help me send you some.
I miss you and the Grands a lot. Steps forward Little One and Vic-Torie!!
Papa Tom
Waiting is never easy. We're thinking of you all and hope you don't get too much winter up there. Torie, nothing good happens after midnight, so you might as well sleep until 7. Your grandmas would really appreciate that.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest today, and keep us posted on the latest.
Lots of love from us!
Torie,
ReplyDeleteWe had lots of wind yesterday too! It blew down a giant blue spruce on the other side of the parking lot (from work). So sad-lots of birds and squirrels lived there! Hope you don't get too much snow!
Try taking your nap in the afternoon so your grandmas can take one too! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope those numbers go up (you too Josiah).
Lots of love,
Aunt Lettie

Glad to see that you did not blow away. On Tuesday night I thought our roof was going to blow away.
ReplyDeleteI have a message for your ANC and HGB, now you listen here, you better start going up so that Torie and the Grandma's can get home for christmas. Although I would like to see them before they leave MN, but I want them home for christmas. So you better listen up and start going forward and not backwards.
We love you guys and miss you guys so much. It is hard to try to talk to our friends that have not had to deal with something like we have, so I wish that all of us that were at the Ronnie house lived closer together so that it would be easier. I know that I have told Deidre that she needs to move to MN so that we are close.
Keeping working hard Torie. Remember you have a very special Guardian Angel watching over you and that is DaNNY.
Love you all lots,
Cyndi, Duane, Michael and ^^Angel^^Cowboy DaNNY
