Torie still loves watermelon! She scarfed up a bunch last night and she's still drinking well. We're hoping being back at
RMH will increase her appetite. She's doing great otherwise; this morning her
WBC's were 1.7 with an
ANC of 1156...best yet! She had her 4
th dose of IV Enzyme today and took it like a champ...as usual. Only 4 more doses to make sure that she has enough enzyme until her new blood is giving her plenty. After all, this is what we're here for. Not only do we think she's doing well, the doctors agree with us. Barring no complications, she will be discharged tomorrow. Although it's only a couple blocks from the hospital to
RMH, it's miles in the transplant process! This is such a huge step, and I know it wouldn't have happened without all the prayers and love and support you have given her. We will never have the words to express our gratitude, but please keep it up!
Grow cells, grow! Vic-Torie!
All this news is so exciting. You will be so happy to have her with you at the house. The room will become very small with all Tories stuff in it. Have a great day and I will keep praying that everything continues to be good.
ReplyDeleteYay!! What great news! Have a nice 'trip' to RMH...those blocks represent a long journey - what a big step! :)
