Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today Torie got a great big box of Irish supplies from Kati, and another package from Aunt Lettie. Aye, and it's a cute wee Irish Lassie she is! Thank you so much for making today a party! Another good reason to party today was Torie's 6
th post-
BMT dose of enzyme. She did excellent as usual, and has only 2 more to go. Hooray! She did get some blood today because her hemoglobin dropped to 7.9. No surprise; we were planning on it. Her
WBC's came up to 3.7 with an
ANC of 3071 after getting G-
CSF Monday. Platelets are holding steady at 32. She'll still need to get them, but she's going a little longer between now.
Her chemistry's are all in normal range except for BUN (28) and today they cut her
Bumex dose to once a day, so hopefully when we go back on Friday it will be normal.

Uncle Shaun will be here tomorrow and we are all so excited to see him. Mom keeps saying how much we look alike now, so I hope she'll be able to tell us apart! We may have to take turns wearing the green wig to keep her guessing. We'll make sure to get some
Baldie pictures to put on here. Thank you for your continued happy thoughts, well-wishes and prayers. We appreciate every one of them so please keep sending them! And Grow Cells, Grow! Vic-Torie!
Oh the luck of the Irish!! Torie looks so cute and so good in those pictures. Made me laugh. She looks just like a fair Irish lassie and has the fighting spirit to go with the look. Glad all is better with her. Enjoy the spring and better weather.
ReplyDeleteToo Cute! There is no room for pinching...she is green head to toe. Happy St. Patrick's Day Torie (and the Grandma's too)! I'm so glad you could celebrate in style and with such a sweet smile.
ReplyDeleteTorie, you are a crack up. So cute in all your St. Patrick's Day finery. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a festive kid! Torie, I love your sense of style! Cheryl, Lexie and team, hang in there--you all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I love the pictures, I am so glad you were able to have a party. I also loved being able to play, even for a moment, outside! That was so fun. Hopefully we will be able to do that more before we go. We continue to pray for you sweetie, we are so glad that you look and feel better. Keep it up and have a wonderful night.
