T+316 A Haircut!

Today was Torie's first haircut in almost a year!  We went to the cutest, girliest salon - "Scoops".  I wish Makinley and Brielle (Torie's AZ cousins) had been there.  Torie was not so keen on getting her hair cut...she thought it would be "fuzzy like Mama Cheryl's" but she was very happy with just a trim. 

I want to share yesterday's RMH "4th day" gift...a travel mug with the Ronald McDonald House House logo.  On the other side it says:

     This is the house
     Where families meet
     To continue their lives,
                         To eat and sleep.
                         To find their strengths
                         And dry their tears,
                         To look forward with hope
                         To better years.
                         This is the house
                         That becomes their home.
                         This is the home
                         That love built.

This pretty much says it all.  Please throw your change into the Ronald McDonald House bin the next time you're at McDonald's.  And keep saving those pop tabs.  We are so blessed by the Ronald McDonald House, and the staff and volunteers that make it a home.  We are so fortunate to have made life-long friends here.  It is a place of Vic-Torie!

    So Torie, you look so cute getting your curly red hairs cut! I'm glad that you and the Grands got to get out of the house for awhile. Hey Grand Kid, you have more new friends out here in Colorado. Hurray! Someday you can meet them and tell them all about your time at Ronald McDonald House and your other friends there in Minnesota.
